Association of First-Gen Undergraduates

Who are we?

AFGU is the first of its kind! We are the first-ever First-Gen Undergraduate student group at UCLA. We aim to:

•  To provide personal, academic, and career development resources for first-generation students in order to 

        facilitate their transition into UCLA.

​

•  To offer a safe space for first-generation students to express themselves and interact with others within the group.

• To encourage student involvement and advocacy and to promote service activities within said community.
